The Roman Catholic Diocese of Kole ( lat. : Dioecesis Kolensis ) is in the Democratic Republic of Congo situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Kole .

history

The diocese of Kole was on June 14, 1951 by Pope Pius XII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Ad catholicam fidem from cessions of territory of the Apostolic Vicariate Léopoldville as Apostolic Prefecture Kole . On September 14, 1967, the Apostolic Prefecture Kole was by Pope Paul VI. raised to the diocese with the Apostolic Constitution Sacram Evangelii .

The diocese of Kole is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Kananga as a suffragan .
