The Diocese of Nakuru ( lat. : Dioecesis Nakurensis ) is in Kenya situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Nakuru . It includes the former Nakuru, Baringo and Koibatek counties in what is now Nakuru and Baringo Counties .
history
Pope Paul VI founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Quam curam on January 11, 1968 from cessions of territory from the dioceses of Eldoret , Kisumu and the archdiocese of Nairobi , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese.
On December 6, 1995, it lost part of its territory to the Kericho diocese .
