The Postal Black surge is an Outbound Spur castle on a granite rock at 470  meters above sea level. NN on the right side of the valley of the Waldnaab in the Falkenberger Forest south of the market Falkenberg in the Upper Palatinate district of Tirschenreuth in Bavaria .

The castle was probably built by the Lords of Falkenberg during the 13th century, this family was mentioned in 1154 with "Pilegrin de Valkenberch". In 1274 it went through the marriage of Gebhardt VI. von Leuchtenberg and a Jutta to the gentlemen of Leuchtenberg . The castle is known as the ministerial seat. In 1294 the castle was first listed under the name Schwarzenschwall, in the same year it was sold by the Leuchtenbergers to the Waldsassen monastery . After that, the system changed hands several times, and it came to Marquard  von Redwitz . He pledged it to Peter Pfreimder , who sold it back to the Waldsassen monastery in 1401. In 1363 the castle was already in ruins, in 1513 it was mentioned again as Schloss Schwarzenschwall, and has not been mentioned since the 17th century.

Today's Burgstall can only be recognized by two section trenches and is registered as a ground monument D-3-6139-0027 "Medieval Burgstall Schwarzenschwall" by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation .
