The listed Lower Castle is located in the Upper Palatinate municipality of Ebnath in the Tirschenreuth district (Brander Straße 1).

The new castle is in the center of Ebnath village. It was built in 1846 by Franz Bernhard (1806–1865). After 1981, Forst Ebnath AG was housed here. In 2010 the New Castle, which was in great need of renovation, was given up again by this company.

The New Castle is a two-and-a-half-storey, unplastered quarry stone building with a hipped roof and stone structure. It is equipped on the ground floor with late Classicist arched windows from 1846. The ensemble includes an outbuilding, a single-storey, unplastered quarry stone building with a hipped roof that was probably built at the same time.
