Bjorn Ahrens

Björn Ahrens (* 1981 ) is a German actor .

Life

Ahrens completed an acting training at the School for Drama Hamburg from 2004 to 2007 . In 2005 he took part in an acting seminar with Michael Bogdanov ; In 2006 he played at the Hamburger Kammerspiele in its production of the play Der Garderobier by Ronald Harwood .

Ahrens has had several theater engagements at the Altona Theater since 2006 . In 2006 he played the role of Anders Bengtsson, the best friend of the title hero, in a stage version of the children's book Kalle Blomquist . In the 2007/2008 season he played the role of the exiled son Edgar in King Lear at the Altona Theater . With the touring theater Thepiskarren , he also went on tour with this production. From 2008 to 2010 he appeared at the Altona Theater in the role of Silvio, one of the friends of the title character, in the play Herr Lehmann ; At times Ahrens also took on the title role. In 2009 he took on the role of Hans Castorp in a stage version of the novel The Magic Mountain .

In the 2007/2008 season he played the painter Conti in Emilia Galotti at the Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg in a production by Kay Neumann . From 2008 to 2010 Ahrens appeared at the Hamburger Kammerspiele in the play The Lisbon Traviata by Terrence McNally . He played the role of the young gay lover Paul in it.

Ahrens also played a few television and film roles. The focus of his artistic activity is still theater work. In 2010 he worked in the short film Listenhunde ; the film was nominated for the Max Ophüls Preis 2012 film festival in Saarbrücken .

In May 2011 he was seen in an episode role in the ZDF crime series Notruf Hafenkante . In 2011 he played a leading role in the ZDF soap Herzflimmern - Die Klinik am See . At the side of Isabelle von Siebenthal, he played the role of Torben Faber, the younger companion of a woman who is longing for a child.

In 2011, he took on the role of petty criminal TJ Jürgensen in several episodes of the ARD television series Rote Rosen . He was on the side cast of the series.

Ahrens also worked as a radio play speaker , for example in the radio play series Die Schwarze Sonne published by Hamburg-based Lausch-Hörspielverlag in 2008 .

Ahrens lives in Hamburg.
