Blanca Delfina Soto Benavides (born January 5, 1979 in Monterrey , Nuevo León , Mexico ) is a Mexican actress and model .

Life

Blanca Soto was born in 1979 in Monterry, Nuevo Leon. Before starting her acting career, she participated in Miss Mexico and Miss World beauty pageants . In 2007 she starred in the short film La vida blanca, starring alongside her husband Jack Hartnett , whom she married in the same year. For her role, she was named Best Actress in a Short Film at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival. In the film comedy In the Deep Valley of the Superbabes (2009) she got the role of Suzi Diablo and stood next to Denise Richards , Chris Pratt , Brendan Hines and Scott Caan in front of the camera. Her role as Catherine in Dinner for Spinners , starring Steve Carell and Paul Rudd , was not mentioned in the credits. In 2012 she played the lead role Camila Nájera in 15 episodes in the American television series El Talismán , which is spoken in Spanish but produced in Florida . She has appeared in the Mexican soap opera Porque el amor manda since 2012 as the actress for Alma Montemayor .
