The Blinde Trebel is a tributary of the Trebel in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It rises from the Richtenberger See, which was rebuilt in 2006 . Its by far largest and longest tributary, the 10.5 km long lock ditch coming from Abtshagen in the east , is classified as its upper course. In addition, the 6.2 km long ditch from Steinfeld, coming from the west, flows into the lake . In addition, a few short trenches lead their water into the lake. The blind Trebel flows from Richtenberger See south to southwesterly direction through the conservation area Hellberge. To the east of Drechow the Bek flows into the Blinde Trebel. This flows into the Trebel about 4 km further south between Rekentin and Tribsees .

Part of the valley of the Blinden Trebel is one of the last river valley bogs in northern Germany and is home to an extraordinary number of species of moss and other endangered plants. The valley's worthy of protection is rated as high.
