history
The first written mention of Buzkovice took place in 1373. Later the village was also called Buškovice . The place belonged to the lordship of Moravské Prusy. When the Lords of Maynusch bought the goods in 1465, the village was first called Boškůvky . The place name Buzkovice has been handed down again from 1495 . In 1631 Leo Wilhelm von Kaunitz acquired the Moravské Prusy estate with the associated villages and added them to his Austerlitz rule . They remained subordinate to this until the middle of the 19th century. At the end of 1831 the area was hit by a cholera epidemic, which also killed a inhabitant of Boškůvky. The parish and school location was Moravské Prusy.
After the abolition of patrimonial Boškůvky formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Wischau . In 1893, 152 people lived in Boškůvky's 36 houses. They were all Czech-speaking Catholics. In 1930 the municipality had 160 inhabitants and in 1960 there were 192. 1964 followed with Moravské Prusy to the municipality Prusy-Boškůvky . After that, the population decreased significantly; This is mainly due to the fact that all facilities of the communal infrastructure are located in the Moravské Prusy district. In 1991 Boškůvky had 82 inhabitants. At the 2001 census, only 57 people lived in the 47 houses in Boškůvky.
