history

Church of St. George

According to the local history, Moravské Prusy has had a manor house since 1052. The first reliable mention of the village and the church took place in 1349. Boškůvky can be traced back to 1373. Although the owners of both villages often changed, Moravské Prusy and Boškůvky always belonged to the same landlord. In 1631 Leo Wilhelm von Kaunitz acquired both villages and added them to his rule in Austerlitz . They remained subordinate to this until the middle of the 19th century.

After the abolition of patrimonial Moravské Prusy (with Tlustomacek and Zouvalka) and Boškůvky formed two communities in the district administration Wischau from 1850 . In 1960, Zouvalka was umgemeindet from Moravské Prusy to Vyškov. In 1964, the municipalities Moravské Prusy and Boškůvky merged to form the municipality Prusy-Boškůvky . All local infrastructure facilities are located in the Moravské Prusy district.
