history
Archaeological finds show that the area has been settled since the Paleolithic .
The first written mention of the village took place in 1141 in a deed of the Olomouc bishop Heinrich Zdik . After numerous changes of ownership, Jan Šembera Černohorský von Boskowitz acquired the goods in the 16th century . After the Boskowitz family died out in 1597, Letošov fell to the Liechtenstein family . The other owners were the Counts Kaunitz and the Taul von Rosenthal family. From November 30th to December 1st, 1805 Tsar Alexander I and Emperor Franz II stayed in Křižanovice , the next day both attended St. Fair.
After the abolition of patrimonial Křižanovice formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Wischau . In 1881 a new school building was built. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1904. Between 1949 and 1959 the community belonged to the Okres Bučovice and after its abolition came back to the Okres Vyškov . In 1950 the kindergarten was established. In 1976 Křižanovice was incorporated into Rašovice. In 1977 the school moved to a new building. The Křižanovice municipality has existed again since 1990.
