history
The first written mention of Snowidek was in 1360, when Stanimír von Snovídky and his mother Markéta sold the village together with Lovišky to Margarethe von Wildenberg. Subsequently, the owners changed frequently. In 1368 the village belonged to Pešek von Zdetín, in 1390 the brothers Hynek and Albert Weck from Miličín followed, from 1392 Jaroš from Cimburg and then Beneš from Benešov on Kvasice. He sold the village and the Snovídky farm in 1406 to the pastor Zbyněk in Krumsín and his brothers Jan Krumpsín from Želechovice and Jan Húse from Krumsín. Jindřich Húse von Krumpsín sold the property in 1437 to Kryštof von Žarůšky, who immediately passed it on to the brothers Mikeš and Hynek von Oynitz. Under Tas von Oynitz, Snovídky was attached to the Bučovice rule at the beginning of the 16th century . From 1533 the rule belonged to Wenzel von Boskowitz , who was married to Anna, a daughter of Tas von Oynitz. In 1560 his son Jan Šembera Černohorský von Boskowitz followed as owner. With his death, the Boskowitz family died out in the male line in 1597. The inheritance fell to Jan Šembera's daughters Anna and Katherina and their husbands, the brothers Karl I and Maximilian I of Liechtenstein. At the beginning of the 17th century, only two hubs of land belonged to the village of Snovídky. After the Thirty Years War , 18 of the 26 properties were desolate. This condition lasted until the end of the 17th century. In 1784 there were 255 people living in the 44 houses of Snovídky. In 1834 the village consisted of 47 houses, including a tavern and a board saw, and had 337 inhabitants.
After the abolition of patrimonial Snovídky formed from 1850 a community in the district administration Wischau . In 1855 the district road from Bučovice via Koryčany to Kyjov was built. In 1887 the Bohemian-Moravian Transversal Railway opened the route from Brno to the Wlara Pass . The train station built on the outskirts is already part of the Nemotice cadastre. In 1890 the Liechtensteiners united the lords of Steinitz and Butschowitz to form Gut Butschowitz-Steinitz. In 1896 Snovídky had grown to 86 houses in which 475 people lived. In 1908 the Nemotitz – Koritschan local railway started operating . Snovídky had 585 inhabitants in 1920 and consisted of 105 houses. In 1936 the brick factory was closed. The mill ceased operations in 1950. Between 1949 and 1959 the municipality belonged to the Okres Bučovice and after its dissolution in 1960 came back to the Okres Vyškov . Passenger transport on the Nemotice – Koryčany railway was stopped in 1980. Between 1976 and 1989 Snovídky was incorporated into Nemotice.
