history
The village was first mentioned in a document in 1380 as the property of Peter von Sternberg . He was followed by Peter von Krawarn on Plumlau . From him in 1398 Pešek Kropáč von Studenec acquired the property. The following year Jan von Ptení and in 1406 Jan von Miličín were named as the owner of the property. In 1481 Wenceslaus von Mezilesí transferred part of Mouřínov to the Moravian governor Ctibor II. Tovačovský von Cimburg . The other share was held by Wenceslas' sons until 1531. Around 1560 Wenceslaus Muřínovský von Mezilesí sold the village and the fortress to Lorenz von Popůvek. The following owners were Anna Heroltká, Všebor Praschma von Belkow, Anna von Kralice, Jiří Karský from Kares, Eva Martínková from Rozseč, Petr Stražovský from Zástřizl and from 1601 Ulrich von Kaunitz . After the Battle of the White Mountain , Karl von Kaunitz's goods were confiscated and sold to Maximilian I of Liechtenstein for 158,166 guilders in 1626 . Since then the village has been subordinate to Bučovice.
After the abolition of patrimonial Mořín / Morein formed from 1850 a community in the judicial district of Steinitz and the district authority of Gaya . In 1879 the village was assigned to the Wischau district administration . The village has been called Mouřínov since the end of the 19th century . In 1976 it was incorporated into Bučovice. In 1999, after a referendum, the place broke away from Bučovice and formed its own municipality. In 2000 and 2001 Mouřínov was connected to the gas supply. In 2002, the renovation of the cultural center began. After the school closes, the building will be used as a kindergarten.
