history

The first written mention of two Vorwerkshöfe belonging to the Brno St. Peter's Church took place in 1141. The original village was located just under a kilometer northwest of today's on Lovčičký potok. In 1371 a parish in Malé Lovčice was mentioned for the first time. The owners of the two outbuildings changed frequently. In 1376 Adamek von Lovčičky sold one of the Vorwerke with the associated four and a half hubs, eight Podsedeken and half the church patronage to Schweidiger Haugwitz ( Švajdiger Haugvic ). In the course of the 16th century, Malé Lovčice had Protestant pastors. Between 1531 and 1568 the landlord Jiří Bošovský von Polanka quarreled with the owners of the parish village Milešovice about their participation in the repair of the church and the rectory. At the beginning of the 17th century the village consisted of 37 properties. After the Battle of the White Mountain , Maximilian I of Liechtenstein acquired Malé Lovčice and slammed the village into Ždánice . After 1633 the parish expired and Malé Lovčice was parish together with Milešovice to Otnice . As a result of the Thirty Years' War the village became deserted and after the end of the war only consisted of ten houses. In 1784 a pub was set up in Malé Lovčice. It was looked after by the chaplain Sigard Beran, a former Premonstratensian of the abolished Obrowitz Abbey. In 1790 Malé Lovčice had 366 inhabitants. After Kaplan Beran took over the parish in Skřípov in 1796 , the place went out again. Malé Lovčice and Milešovice were reassigned to the parish of Otnice. In 1798 a new restaurant was opened in Bošovice , to which Malé Lovčice was also assigned. Since 1840 Malé Lovčice is parish after Otnice. In 1834 534 people lived in the 87 houses in the village.

After the abolition of patrimonial Malé Lovčice / Klein Lowtschitz formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Wischau . Since the end of the 19th century, the village was also called Lovčičky ; this name replaced Malé Lovčice as the official place name in 1924 . In 1900 the village had 759 inhabitants, ten years later there were 961. Between 1949 and 1960 the community belonged to the Okres Slavkov and after its dissolution came back to the Okres Vyškov .
