Křižanovice u Vyškova , until 1960 Křižanovice (German Krischanowitz , formerly Krzizanowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers northeast of Vyškov and belongs to the Okres Vyškov .

Křižanovice u Vyškova is located in Hanna on a terrace on the left side above the Haná river . The foothills of the Litenčické vrchy rise to the south . The railway line Vyškov - Přerov runs past the southern periphery , the nearest railway station is Hoštice-Heroltice . In the west runs the expressway R 46 , there is exit 2 Vyškov-východ. To the northwest is the Vyškov airfield.

Neighboring places are Pustiměř and Drysice in the north, Ivanovice na Hané in the north-east, Hoštice-Heroltice in the east, Trpinka and Rybníček in the south-east, Topolany in the south, Brňany, Křečkovice and Vyškov in the south-west, Pazderna and Dědice in the west and Radslavice and Pustimědice in the north-west .

history

The first documentary mention of the village took place in the deed of transfer of ownership of the Olomouc bishop Heinrich Zdiks from the year 1131 over all goods belonging to the church of St. Peter to the newly built Wenceslas Cathedral . In it, the goods belonging to the Pustimir Gau Nemojany , Podivice and Rostěnice as well as possessions in Vyškov , Dražovice , Hlubočany , Želeč , Křižanovice and the desert village of Melice near Pustimir were named. When the parish Topolany was set up, Křížanovice was assigned to this together with Heroltice and Rybníček in 1388 . In 1408 the Diocese of Olomouc Artleb von Říčany submitted a fiefdom in Křižanovice. Until the middle of the 19th century, Křížanovice always remained subordinate to Vyškov. In 1791 Křížanovice had 180 inhabitants. In 1848 the whole village burned down.

After the abolition of patrimonial Křížanovice formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Wischau . In 1854 there were 187 people in the community. In 1859 the parish in Topolany was renewed. In 1880 the village had 202 inhabitants and in 1921 there were 248. Since 1961 the municipality has been officially named u Vyškova . In 1986 Křižanovice u Vyškova was incorporated into Vyškov . In 1990 the community was re-established and since 2001 it has had a coat of arms and a banner.
