Hoštice-Heroltice (German Hoschtitz-Heroltitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers east of Vyškov and belongs to the Okres Vyškov . Hoštice-Heroltice was created in 1942 through the merger of the Heroltice and Hoštice municipalities.

geography

Hoštice-Heroltice is located in the Hanna on the left side of the Haná river on an old arm of the river. The community forms a closed development area along the village street and some side streets. The western part is Heroltice, the eastern part is Hoštice. The foothills of the Litenčické vrchy rise to the south . The Vyškov - Přerov railway line runs along the northern periphery, and the Hoštice-Heroltice railway station is also located there . In the south, on the right of the Haná, the Autobahn 1 passes, the next exit 236 is at Ivanovice na Hané. To the northwest is the Vyškov airfield.

Neighboring towns are Drysice in the north, Ivanovice na Hané in the Northeast, Koválovice u Tištína and Švábenice the east, Medlovice the southeast, Rybníček , Trpinka and Moravské Prusy in the south, Topolany in the southwest, Vyškov and Křižanovice u Vyškova the west and Pustiměřské Prusy and Pustiměř in Northwest.

history

Heroltice

The first written mention of the village was in 1349 as the property of Jan and Dětřich von Komorov. Between 1381 and 1391 the village belonged to the brothers Oldřich, Ondřej and Ješek Kyj von Heroltice. The owners of the goods changed in quick succession. When the parish Topolany was set up, Heroltice was assigned to this together with Křížanovice and Rybníček in 1388 . In the 17th century the village was divided into a Bohdalicer and a Wischauer part, which existed until the 18th century.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Herotice / Herotitz 1850 a municipality in the district administration Wischau . In 1859 the parish in Topolany was renewed. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1896. Since 1923 the community has been called Heroltice / Heroltitz . In 1925 Heroltice was repared to Hoštice. In 1942 it was merged with Hoštice to form the municipality of Hoštice-Heroltice .

Hoštice

Hoštice belonged to the possessions of the Order of St. John in Ivanovice na Hané . The village can be documented for the first time with the consecration of the parish church in 1445. In 1590 Johann Dietrich von Zierotin received the villages of Hoštice and Medlovice. In 1624 the parish in Hoštice went out. In 1817 the village burned down. In 1846 a school was established in Hoštice.

After the abolition of patrimonial Hoštice / Hoschtitz formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Wischau . In 1859 the parish in Topolany was renewed. In 1942 it was merged with Heroltice to form the Hoštice-Heroltice municipality .

Hoštice-Heroltice

In 1980 Topolany and Křižanovice u Vyškova were incorporated . In 1986 Topolany, Křižanovice u Vyškova, Hoštice and Heroltice were incorporated into Vyškov. The community has existed again since 1990.

The community Hoštice-Heroltice consists of the districts Heroltice ( Herotitz ) and Hoštice ( Hoschtitz ).
