history

Archaeological finds show an early settlement in the area of the municipality. These include the remains of a settlement from the time of the Bandkeramischen culture . Another Bronze Age find dates from between 1800 and 1500 BC. Chr.

The layout of the village suggests that it was built between the 8th and 10th centuries. The church was probably built around 1300. The first written mention of the village was in 1355 as the property of Lucek and Jan von Dobročkovice. According to Bartosz Paprocki , Mikeš von Zástřizl is said to have owned the place and built the church in 1348 , but this is doubtful. The Vladiken von Dobročkovice were a branch of the von Schwabenitz family . In 1358 the brothers Vlček and Ješek von Dobročkovice were named as owners. 1376 belonged parts of the village Jan von Dobročkovice together with his sons Vlček and Vavřinec. In addition to the Vladiken von Dobročkovice in the second half of the 14th century, members of the families of Otaslavice, Kobeřice and Zástřizl also owned other shares of the splintered goods. Jindřich von Zástřizl bought his wife Bolka von Dobročkovice's inheritance in 1406 and gradually began to combine most of the estate in his hands. A share of Dobročkovice belonged to Zdeněk and Jan Vlk von Schwabenitz in 1437. From 1493 the village belonged entirely to the Knights of Zástřizl. Oneš and Hynek von Zástřizl left their shares in Jaroš von Zástřizl on Morkovice in the same year . In 1502 Jaroš acquired Aleš von Zástřizl's share and merged the estate into one unit. In 1516 the Zástřizl Dobročkovice sold to Jan Kobík von Opatov. After the death of his son Jiřík in 1544, the estate was divided between his sisters Elisabeth and Margarethe and Markyta Packová von Pačlavice, an aunt of the deceased. In the 16th century the Bohemian Brethren gained a strong influence, during which time the pastorate was filled with non-Catholics. From 1555 Dobročkovice largely belonged to Václav Havránek von Rybí. He sold the property together with Jakub Pacák, the owner of the other third, to Záviš von Víckov. From 1561 he had a mighty four-wing renaissance castle built on a terrace above the Litava and the Kynický rybník pond southwest of the village. He gave up the festival in Dobročkovice. Záviš died in 1569. The Neuschloss Castle remained unfinished because his successor Přemek von Víckov did not have the means to continue building it. In 1575 Přemek sold the lordship of Neuschloss with the chateau including the courtyard, brewery, pond and mill, the Dobročkovice farm and the local church patronage and the desert village of Knínice to Heinrich von Zástřizl. From 1590 the Martinkovský from Rozseč and then the Kravařský from Šlejvice as owners. In 1611 a Catholic pastor can be traced for the first time. After the battle of the White Mountain , the goods were given to the imperial favorite Nikolaus Nusser von Nussek. As a result of the Thirty Years' War, in which Hungarians, Cumans and Swedes devastated the area, in 1654 30 of the 44 properties were desolate. The parish went out during this time. From 1665 Dorothea Katharina von Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf was one of the other owners of the Neuschloss estate . In 1671 Alexander Heinrich von Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf joined Neuschloss with the associated villages Dobročkovice, Nesovice , Letošov , Milonice and the Rošťoutky desert to the Milonice estate. After further changes of ownership, the founder of the learned society Societas incognitorum , Josef Leopold von Petrasch, acquired the property in 1750 . In 1798 Alois Joseph von Liechtenstein acquired the goods and added them to his reign of Butschowitz . In 1834 the village consisted of 92 houses and 458 inhabitants. The first village school was inaugurated in 1846.

After the abolition of patrimonial Dobročkovice formed from 1850 a community in the district administration Wischau . In 1890 the Liechtensteiners united the lords of Steinitz and Butschowitz to form Gut Butschowitz-Steinitz. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1898. In 1928 Dobročkovice was electrified and in 1929 the road to Brankovice was built. In 1931 a new school building was built. At the end of the Second World War, the Romanian army took Dobročkovice on April 30, 1945 after fighting with the Wehrmacht. Six Romanians died and were later buried in a mass grave in the cemetery. The cemetery was established in 1949. Between 1949 and 1959 the municipality belonged to the Okres Bučovice and after its dissolution in 1960 came back to the Okres Vyškov . In 1952 a new municipal office was inaugurated. The primary school stopped teaching in 1977 due to the low number of pupils. Between 1976 and 1990 Dobročkovice was incorporated into Brankovice. In 1991 the kindergarten closed. The village after Milonice is parish.
