Latène Age burial ground
Between the place and the Tisza there is a grave field from the 3rd century BC that was discovered while plowing. BC, that is the springtime La Tène . Rescue excavations took place between 1977 and 1978 , during which 18 cremation graves were uncovered.
The plowing had destroyed some of the graves at a depth of 33 to 248 cm. From the finds in the graves with weapons as grave goods , the archaeologists could deduce six warriors buried here. There was a sword with a richly decorated scabbard in the Latène Age fish bladder motif, some lance tips, seven bronze brooches , eleven iron brooches , three iron arm rings, one bronze arm ring, one bronze wire ring and some iron link belts. In addition, 43 disk-turned and 23 hand-formed ceramic vessels, including an urn with a horseshoe decoration and handle, and a bowl with a braided handle were excavated.
