Bogomil Pavlov (born January 18, 1992 ) is a former Bulgarian ski jumper .

Career

Pavlov started for the first time internationally as part of the Bulgarian national ski jumping team on February 17, 2007 in Zakopane in the FIS Cup and made it into the second round as 29th. The next day he was 19th. This season he also took part in the Junior World Championship, which had been relocated from Tarvisio to Planica due to lack of snow , but clearly missed the second round as 59th. In summer 2007 he started in the Continental Cup for the first time , but always missed the second round by a large margin. In the next winter he started with a 39th place at the FIS Cup in Harrachov . He then started again in the Continental Cup, but clearly missed the second run in all competitions. At the Junior World Championships in Zakopane he was 66th in the individual and 13th in the team. The next winter he started again in the Fis Cup, but missed the second round in every competition. At the Junior World Championships in Štrbské Pleso he was 55. In the summer of 2009 he made it back to the second round as 30th at the FIS Cup in Predazzo . In the South Korean Alpensia Resort he was able to win Continental Cup points for the first time as 28th and 30th. On December 4, 2009 he jumped in Lillehammer for the first time in the World Cup, but missed the qualification as 61st. He then took part in other qualifications, but did not qualify once. He also didn't score any points in the Continental Cup this winter. At the 2010 Junior World Championships in Hinterzarten , he finished 57th. Nevertheless, he was nominated for the 2010 Ski Flying World Championships , where he finished last as 46th in qualification. In the summer of 2010 he was unable to reach the second round in the Continental Cup once. At the Alpencup in Kranj he also missed the second round in 64th and 66th places. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2011 in Otepää he reached 22nd place in jumping on the Tehvandi hill .

After a final participation in the qualification for the ski jumping World Cup finals in Planica in March 2011, in which he could not qualify for the competition with 56th place, Pavlov ended his active sports career.
