Bojan Janković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Бојан Јанковић ; born June 9, 1984 in Belgrade , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Vitez Belgrade in the Serbian ice hockey league since 2012 .

Career

Bojan Janković began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at HK Partizan Belgrade , for whom he made his debut in the Yugoslav ice hockey league (since 2003: Serbian-Montenegrin ice hockey league) at the age of 17 . In 2005 he moved to local rivals KHK Red Star Belgrade , from which he returned to his home club after just one year. With Partizan he was Serbian champion in 2007, 2008 and 2009 . He then went to the Red Star again for a year, but then played again for Partizan from 2010 to 2012 and was able to win the Slohokej League with the club in addition to the two Serbian championship titles in 2011 and 2012 . In 2012 he moved to HK Vitez Belgrade , for whom he has played in the Serbian league since then . In his first season for Vitez, as the second-best assists and third-best scorer in the league, he was instrumental in ensuring that his new club was Serbian runner-up.

International

In the junior division, Janković took part in the U18 World Championships in 2001 and 2002 in Division III for Yugoslavia, as well as in the U20 World Championship in 2003 in Division II and for Serbia and Montenegro in the U20 World Championship in 2004 in Division II.

In the men's division, Janković played for the Serbian-Montenegrin team at the 2004 and 2005 World Championships in Division II and at the qualifying tournament for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin . After the split of Montenegro, he took part with the Serbian team in the World Championships of Division II in 2007 , 2009 and 2011 .
