Bondo (German outdated: Bund ) is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Sella Giudicarie and was an independent municipality in the province of Trento in the Italian region of Trentino-South Tyrol until 2015 .
geography
Bondo is located about 34 kilometers southwest of Trento on the Torrente Arnò, a tributary of the Sarca , at an altitude of 823 mslm on the orographic left side of the valley. South of the town center is the Bondo saddle ( Italian Sella di Bondo ), which forms the watershed between the Chiese and Sarca rivers . From Bondo the Val di Breguzzo leads in a north-westerly direction into the Adamello group .
Demographics

history
On January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Bondo, Lardaro , Breguzzo and Roncone merged to form the new municipality of Sella Giudicarie. Neighboring communities were Tione di Trento , Bolbeno , Breguzzo, Zuclo and Roncone.
