Boris Pretnar (born April 8, 1978 in Bled , SR Slovenia ) is a Slovenian ice hockey player who was last under contract with the VST Völkermarkt in the fourth Austrian division until 2010 .

Career

Boris Pretnar began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of HK Jesenice , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Slovenian ice hockey league in the 1994/95 season . With the team Pretnar won the Slovenian championship four times and was runner-up nine times. From the 2006/07 season he also played for Jesenice in the Austrian Ice Hockey League . For the 2009/10 season he moved to the fourth Austrian division for VST Völkermarkt , for which he scored 14 goals and 22 assists. Since then he has been without a contract.

International

For Slovenia , Pretnar took part in the junior division in the U18 Junior C European Championships in 1995 and 1996 and the U20 Junior C World Championships in 1995 , 1996 and 1997 . He was also in his country's squad at the B World Championships in 2004 and 2007 and at the A World Championships in 2003 , 2005 and 2008 .
