The Bourbince is a river in France , in the Saône-et-Loire department , Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises in the municipality of Torcy from the Étang de Torcy of the same name , at an altitude of 326 meters. It generally drains to the southwest, then swings to the northwest and flows into the Arroux after around 84 kilometers northeast of Digoin , as a left tributary . The Bourbince is on a majority of its river course from the ship channel Canal du Center as a side channel analysis and is also used for water supply of the canal.
