The Bräumke is a 3.6 kilometer long orographically left tributary of the Hälver in Halver .

Location and topography

The stream rises at 393 meters above sea level. NN south of the Halveraner industrial park near Oberlangenscheid and feeds a pond directly after the source. Then it flows parallel to the federal road 229 in an easterly direction, takes the Langenscheid brook on the left and changes between Oeckinghausen and Bruch in a northerly direction. Now it flows parallel to Landesstraße 868 past Carthausen , where it receives a tributary from the Schlechtenbach on the left. Below the Heesfelder Hammer it flows into the Hälver after around 3.6 km.
