The Brauhaus Gusswerk is a beer brewery that was opened in 2007 on the former site of the Oberascher bell foundry on the northern edge of the city of Salzburg . In 2013 she moved to Hof bei Salzburg because the previous space had become too small . The owner is master brewer Reinhold Barta. Only organic beers are produced in the Brauhaus Gusswerk , some types according to the strict Demeter guidelines . The grains used - barley , wheat , emmer , spelled and einkorn - come from Austrian organic farmers . The malt is obtained from an organically certified company in Grieskirchen (Upper Austria), the hops come from the Mühlviertel . The brewing water comes from the brewery's own spring. It is brewed without any water treatment and without chemical or rapid fermentation processes.
