The Brittany is a Ro-Ro - ferry of the French shipping company Brittany Ferries , on the route between Portsmouth and Saint-Malo is used.
history
The ship was built under the hull number D29 at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard. The launching of the ship took place on 4 February 1989th The ship was completed on July 6th and entered service on July 16, 1989. The cost of the ship was £ 55 million.
The ship was initially used on the route between Plymouth and Santander and has served the route between Portsmouth and Saint-Malo since 1993.
The ship was named after the region in France .
Technical data and equipment
