Brooke Voigt (born November 17, 1993 in Fort McMurray , Alberta ) is a Canadian snowboarder . She starts in the freestyle disciplines .

Career

Voigt has been taking part in competitions of the FIS and the TTR World Snowboard Tour since 2009 . She made her debut in the Snowboard World Cup in January 2010 in Calgary , which she finished in second place in slopestyle . The following month, she finished second in slopestyle at Billabong Flaunt It at Blue Mountain . The following season she was second in slopestyle at the World Cup in Calgary and third at Billabong Flaunt It in Sierra-at-Tahoe . At the end of the season she won third place in the Big Air and Slopestyle World Cup. After finishing third in slopestyle in February 2012 at The Canadian Shield Ski and Snowboard Tour on Mount Seymour , she was again second in slopestyle at the World Cup in Calgary. The following month, she took second place in slopestyle at Billabong Flaunt It at Mont Saint Sauveur and fifth at the Burton US Open . She finished the season in 13th place in the Freestyle World Cup and in second place in the Slopestyle World Cup. At the Snowboard World Championships 2013 in Stoneham she finished 23rd in Slopestyle. In late February 2013, she was third in slopestyle at the Burton US Open. After finishing third at The Mile High in Perisher Blue at the beginning of the 2013/14 season, she took sixth place at the Snowboard Jamboree and World Cup in Stoneham and seventh place at the Burton US Open. The following season she won Big Air at the Showcase Showdown in Blackcomb . At the 2015 Snowboard World Championships on Kreischberg , she finished 13th. After finishing fifth in the slopestyle at The Mile High in Perisher Blue at the beginning of the 2015/16 season, she reached third place in the Big Air competition at the US Grand Prix and World Cup in Boston in February 2016 . At the 2016 Snowboard World Championships in Yabuli she came 19th in Slopestyle and 11th in Big Air. At the end of the season, she finished 17th in the Freestyle World Cup and fifth in the Big Air World Cup. In the 2016/17 season she was third in slopestyle at the World Cup in Québec and second in slopestyle at the Grandvalira Total Fight. At the 2017 Snowboard World Championships in Sierra Nevada , she finished 28th in Big Air and seventh in Slopestyle. In the 2017/18 season she was third in slopestyle at the Grandvalira Total Fight and second in big air at the World Ski and Snowboard Festival in Whistler . At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she came 21st in slopestyle and 17th in Big Air. The following year she finished eighth in slopestyle at the World Championships in Park City . In the 2019/20 season she achieved two third places and one second place, seventh place in the Freestyle World Cup, third place in the Slopestyle World Cup and second place in the Big Air World Cup. At the X-Games Norway 2020 in Hafjell , she won the bronze medal in slopestyle.
