The Renault Scala is a sedan built exclusively for India by the French car manufacturer Renault . The vehicle is a modified version of the Nissan Latio .

The sedan was launched in August 2012. The vehicle was produced in the same factory as the Nissan Micra .

A 1.5-liter gasoline engine and a 1.5-liter diesel engine were available for the Scala .
