The Renault Type FK was an early passenger car model from Renault . It was also called 12 CV .
description
The national licensing authority granted its approval on December 7, 1917. The predecessor was the Renault Type ER . Production ended in 1918. The successor was the Renault Type GS .
A water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a 75 mm bore and 120 mm stroke developed 12 hp from a displacement of 2121 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified as 38 km / h to 64 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.
With a wheelbase of 306 cm and a track width of 134 cm, the vehicle was 431.5 cm long and 161.5 cm wide. The turning circle was given as 11 meters. The chassis weighed 750 kg. Only touring cars have survived .
