The Renault Type LZ was a passenger car model of the interwar period of Renault . It was also called 18/22 CV .

The national licensing authority granted its approval on April 26, 1924. The predecessor was the Renault Type KD . The model was the sports version of the Renault Type MG . Production ended in 1925. The model upgrade led to the Type LZ 1 , which was approved on November 20, 1924 and was in the range until 1926.

The water-cooled six-cylinder engine with 85 mm bore and 140 mm stroke had 4766 cc engine capacity . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified at 58 km / h to 70 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.

With a wheelbase of 338.8 cm and a track width of 144 cm, the vehicle was 452 cm long and 170 cm wide. The turning circle was given as 15 to 16 meters. The chassis weighed 1400 kg. There was a choice of touring cars and convertibles .
