The Renault Type CH was an early passenger car model from Renault . It was also called 20 CV .
description
The national licensing authority granted its approval on January 19, 1911. It was a derivative of the longer Renault Type CE and had neither a predecessor nor a successor. Production ended in 1912.
A water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a 100 mm bore and 160 mm stroke produced 22 hp from a displacement of 5026 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The top speed was specified as 59 km / h to 89 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.
With a wheelbase of 343.5 cm and a track width of 126 cm, the vehicle was 462 cm long and 155 cm wide. The turning circle was given as 12 meters. The chassis weighed 1100 kg, the complete vehicle 1700 kg. The double phaeton and roadster have been handed down. The chassis cost between 15,000 and 15,500 francs .
