The Renault Sport Reina was a passenger car model of the interwar period of Renault . The type codes were Type RM and Type ZS .

description

Renault presented the first version of the model in October 1932 at the Paris Motor Show . It replaced the Renault Reinastella . In 1934 production ended without a successor.

The water-cooled eight - cylinder engine with a 90 mm bore and 140 mm stroke had a displacement of 7125 cm³ . The engine output of 130 hp was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft .

Type RM 5

There was a choice of two chassis of different lengths . The shorter one had a wheelbase of 334.7 cm and the longer one a wheelbase of 358.7 cm. The track width was 144 cm at the front and 145.4 cm at the rear. There was a choice of four-door sedan with five seats, a coupé , four-door Pullman sedan with seven seats and a coach .

Type RM 6

This version from October 1933 had five unequal sized ventilation flaps in the sides of the bonnet. The vehicles were either 505 cm or 530 cm long and 195 cm wide, depending on the wheelbase. In addition to limousines and Pullman limousines, a convertible was also offered .

Type ZS 1

This version was approved on February 2, 1934. The wheelbase increased slightly by 5 mm. There were four horizontal vents on the sides of the hood. The front bumper was bent down in the middle. In addition to the chassis, only sedans and Pullman sedans were on offer. Production ended in May 1934 after 20 copies were made.
