The Renault Type DQ was an early passenger car model from Renault . It was also called 45 CV .

description

The national licensing authority granted its approval on January 16, 1913. Predecessor was the Renault Type CF . Production ended in the same year. The successor Renault Type ET followed in 1914 .

A water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a 130 mm bore and 160 mm stroke produced 40 hp from a displacement of 8495 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified as 68 km / h to 97 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.
