The Renault FR1 (type SFR112) was a coach from the manufacturer Renault VI It was the first bus with disc brakes in the front.

history

The FR1, launched in 1983, could be recognized by the horizontal ventilation openings at the rear.

The bus was available in three lengths (10,617 mm, 11,381 mm and 11,995 mm) and two heights.

The chassis of the FR1 was also used by body builders, including Obradors (ST 315 ...) and Gangloff (FR1 GTS).

The FR1 was produced until 1996. At the end of 1996 it underwent a facelift and renamed Renault Iliade .
