description

The national licensing authority granted its approval on September 16, 1927. Renault previously had no similar model in its range. The Renault Monastella was a more luxurious variant. Production ended in 1931. The successor was the Renault Monaquatre with a four-cylinder engine .

The water-cooled six - cylinder engine with a 58 mm bore and 93 mm stroke produced between 26 and 33 hp from a displacement of 1474 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft .

With a wheelbase of 265 cm and a track width of 130 cm, the vehicle was 370 cm long and 155 cm wide. Another source mentions a vehicle width of 145 cm. An internet source states a vehicle height of 160 cm, but does not state which body version this information refers to. The turning circle was given as 11 meters. The chassis weighed 650 kg.
