The Renault Type NS was a passenger car model of the interwar period of Renault . It was also called 15 CV .
description
The national licensing authority granted its approval on January 5, 1925. As a variant of Renault Type NE and Renault Type NO with a particularly low chassis, the model had neither a predecessor nor a successor. Production ended in 1926.
The water-cooled four-cylinder engine with 85 mm bore and 140 mm stroke had 3178 cc engine capacity . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The top speed was specified as 63.4 km / h.
The turning circle was given as 13 meters. The chassis weighed 1080 kg. Only a limousine has survived . At 38,500 francs, the price for a chassis was around 30% higher than the price for a normal chassis.
