The Renault type HF was a passenger car model of the interwar period of Renault . It was also called 40 CV .

description

The national licensing authority granted its approval on August 14, 1920. The predecessor was the Renault Type GX . The Renault Type IR followed in 1921 .

The water-cooled six - cylinder engine with a 110 mm bore and 160 mm stroke developed 140 hp from a 9123 cm³ displacement . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The top speed was specified as 71 km / h to 95 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.

With a wheelbase of 399.4 cm and a track width of 150 cm, the vehicle was between 507.5 cm and 512 cm long and between 170 cm and 176 cm wide. The turning circle was given as 15 to 16 meters. The chassis weighed 1680 kg, the complete vehicle 2450 kg. Limousine has been handed down.
