The Renault Type LS was a passenger car model of the interwar period of Renault . It was also called 12 CV .

description

The national licensing authority granted its approval on February 12, 1923. Production ended in the same year. As a variant of the Renault Type KR , the model had neither a predecessor nor a successor.

The water-cooled four-cylinder engine with 85 mm bore and 140 mm stroke had 3178 cc engine capacity . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The top speed was specified as 48 km / h to 65 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.

With a wheelbase of either 319.5 cm or 338.8 cm and a track width of 144 cm, the vehicle was 419 cm or 438.3 cm long and 165.5 cm wide. The turning circle was given as 13 meters. The chassis weighed 1150 kg.

The chassis cost 31,000 francs and a roadster 41,000 francs. A convertible has also survived.
