The Renault Captur II is a compact SUV from the French car manufacturer Renault .
history
The second generation of the Captur was presented on July 3, 2019. It had its public premiere at the International Motor Show in September 2019. The model was launched on January 11, 2020.
technology
The new Captur is now based CMF-B platform on the Renault-Nissan, with the Renault Clio V was introduced. The second generation of the Nissan Juke presented in September 2019 also uses them.
Compared to the Captur I , the second generation is larger. The model is visually similar again.
Engines
A 1.0- and a 1.3-liter gasoline engine of the Renault H5Ht type, which is also sold in a similar design under the Mercedes-Benz M 282 , and a 1.5-liter diesel engine are available for the market launch . A plug-in hybrid is also available. This drive is a joint development by Renault-Nissan and Mitsubishi.
