description

The national licensing authority granted its approval on January 16, 1913. The predecessor was the Renault Type CD . Production ended in the same year. The successor was the Renault Type EE in 1914 .

A water-cooled six - cylinder engine with a bore of 85 mm and a stroke of 150 mm produced 22 hp from a displacement of 5107 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified as 52 km / h to 78 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.

One source states that two chassis of different lengths were available. The shorter one had a wheelbase of 358.4 cm and a track width of 145 cm. The vehicle was 487.5 cm long and 176 cm wide. The longer chassis allowed a vehicle length of 502.5 cm with a wheelbase of 373.5 cm. The track gauge and vehicle width were unchanged. Another source gives the wheelbase at 364 cm and the vehicle length at 495 cm. The turning circle was given as 14 meters. The chassis weighed 1100 kg, the complete vehicle 2100 kg. The choices were torpedo , limousine and landaulet .

The chassis cost 14,500 francs with normal tires and 14,900 francs with detachable tires.

On April 26, 1997, Christie's auction house auctioned a 1913 landaulet for $ 79,500 . Bonhams also auctioned a 1913 landaulet for £ 35,000 on December 3, 2001 .
