The Renault Type PI was a passenger car model of the interwar period of Renault . It was also called 18/22 CV .

The national licensing authority granted its approval on May 15, 1926. The predecessor was the Renault Type MG . In the same year production ended without a successor.

The water-cooled six-cylinder engine with 85 mm bore and 140 mm stroke had 4766 cc engine capacity . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified as 52 km / h to 70 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.

The chassis had the dimensions 368 cm wheelbase and 144 cm track width . It weighed 1600 kg. The turning circle was given as 15 to 16 meters. The choice was between touring car and sedan . The price for a chassis in November 1926 was 70,000 francs .

The Renault Type PZ was a variant.
