The Renault Type GS was a passenger car model of the interwar period of Renault . It was also called 10 CV .
description
The national licensing authority granted its approval on October 30, 1919. The predecessor was the Renault Type FK . Production ended in 1920. Successors were the Renault Type IC and Renault Type IG .
The water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a 75 mm bore and 120 mm stroke had a displacement of 2121 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified as 39 km / h to 55 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.
With a wheelbase of 262 cm and a track width of 144 cm, the vehicle was 347 cm long and 159 cm wide. One source mentions a height of 180 cm, but does not state which body shape this information refers to. The turning circle was given as 8 meters. The chassis weighed 600 kg, the complete vehicle 1250 kg. There was a choice of touring cars , limousines , Phaeton , pick-ups , panel vans and minibuses .
The chassis cost 9,800 francs and a four-seater torpedo 12,800 francs.
