The Renault Type IM was a passenger car model of the interwar period of Renault . It was also called 10 CV .

The national licensing authority granted its approval on June 1, 1921. The predecessor was the Renault Type IC . Production ended in 1922. The successor was the Renault Type KZ .
The water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a 75 mm bore and 120 mm stroke had a displacement of 2121 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The top speed was specified as 47 km / h to 56 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.
With a wheelbase of 280.8 cm and a track width of 144 cm, the vehicle was 370.8 cm long and 164 cm wide. The turning circle was given as 15 meters. The chassis weighed 670 kg, the complete vehicle 1300 kg. The choice was between touring car , limousine and Landaulet .
In contrast to the similar Renault Type II , this model had right-hand drive.
