The Renault Alaskan is a pick-up model from the French car manufacturer Renault . The concept vehicle was presented at the IAA in Frankfurt am Main in 2015 , and the series vehicle has been on sale since September 2017. The technical basis and the 2.3-liter common rail diesel engine , which is available in two output levels, comes from the Nissan Navara . In Germany, in contrast to the Navara, the Alaskan is only sold with a double cabin . The pick-up is built together with the Nissan Navara and the Mercedes-Benz X-Class in Barcelona .
In Germany, the Alaskan is available in the equipment variants Life (basic version), Experience and Intens.
The limited special model Ice Edition was presented at the 89th Geneva Motor Show in March 2019 .
