description
The national licensing authority granted its approval on June 30, 1914. The model was a modification of the Renault Type DX and had no predecessor. In the same year production ended without a successor.
A water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a 95 mm bore and 160 mm stroke produced 21 hp from a displacement of 4536 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified as 68 km / h to 78 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.
With a wheelbase of 355.5 cm and a track width of 145 cm, the vehicle was 484.5 cm long and 176 cm wide. The turning circle was given as 12 meters. The chassis weighed 900 kg. The double phaeton and roadster have been handed down.
The Renault Type EJ was designed similarly, but shorter.
