description

The national licensing authority granted its approval on January 19, 1911. The previous Renault Type BH was shorter. Production ended in 1913 when the successor Renault Type DT appeared.

A water-cooled six - cylinder engine with a 100 mm bore and 160 mm stroke produced 30 to 40 hp from a displacement of 7540 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified as 68 km / h to 97 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.

With a wheelbase of 402.6 cm or 403 cm and a track width of 145 cm, the vehicle was 530 cm long and 175 cm or 176 cm wide. In 1913 a chassis with a 392 cm wheelbase and 147 cm track width was also available, which resulted in a vehicle length of 521 cm and a vehicle width of 178 cm. The turning circle was given as 15 meters. The chassis weighed 1450 kg, the complete vehicle 2500 kg. The choices were torpedo and limousine . The chassis cost 21,000 francs .
