The Renault Type BM was an early passenger car model from Renault . It was also called 25 CV .

description

The national licensing authority granted its approval on June 1, 1910. Production ended in 1911. There was neither a predecessor nor a successor of comparable size.

A water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a 110 mm bore and 160 mm stroke produced 28 hp from a displacement of 6082 cm³ . The same engine was also used in the Renault Type BL and Type BN truck models. The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified as 55 km / h to 89 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.

With a wheelbase of either 308 cm or 325 cm and a track width of 140 cm, the vehicle was either 436.5 cm or 453.5 cm long and 168 cm wide. The turning circle was specified as 13 to 14 meters. The chassis weighed 1000 kg, the complete vehicle 1800 kg. The choices were torpedo and limousine . The chassis cost 16,500 francs .
