The Renault Talisman is a passenger car model from the French car manufacturer Renault . It is offered as a four-door notchback sedan and a five-door station wagon and is assigned to the middle class . Renault itself speaks of the upper middle class. It replaces the Laguna and the Latitude sedan .
history
The series was presented in September 2015 at the IAA in Frankfurt am Main and has been available in stores since February 2016. The talisman is produced at the Renault plant in the French city of Douai . The talisman uses the "Common Module Family" (CMF) of the Renault-Nissan Alliance. This allows vehicles from various market segments to be built based on reused components. The talisman shares large modules with the Renault Espace .
In February 2020, Renault announced that the talisman would be visually redesigned in summer 2020.
The Renault Talisman has been offered in Korea as the Samsung SM6 since 2016 , while the Samsung SM7 was exported to China as the Renault Talisman between 2012 and 2016 .
Technical specifications
Initially, three diesel and two petrol engines should be available. The three diesel engines produce 81, 96 or 118 kW, the two petrol engines 110 or 147 kW. The petrol and the most powerful diesel are only to be offered in conjunction with a dual clutch transmission with six (for diesel engines) or seven (for petrol engines) gear stages. Customers can only choose between automatic and manual transmissions for small and medium-sized diesels. Renault specifies combined consumption values between 5.6 and 3.6 l / 100 km, which corresponds to CO 2 emissions between 132 g / km and 95 g / km.
