The Renault Type BK was an early passenger car model from Renault . It was also called 10 CV .

description

The national licensing authority granted its approval on October 27, 1909. The predecessor was the Renault Type AM . Production ended in 1912. There was no successor of the same size. The following Renault Type CQ was longer and more powerful.

A water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a 70 mm bore and 110 mm stroke produced 8 to 10 hp from a displacement of 1693 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified as 38 km / h to 52 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.

With a wheelbase of 267.5 cm or 268 cm and a track width of 132 cm, the vehicle was 371 cm or 380 cm long and 160 cm or 162.5 cm wide. The turning circle was given as 10 meters. The chassis weighed 650 kg, the complete vehicle 1250 kg. There was a choice of double phaeton , torpedo , limousine , roadster and panel van . The chassis cost 7200 francs .
