description

The national licensing authority granted its approval on February 19, 1924. The model replaced the Renault Type KJ . When production was stopped in 1926, there was no direct successor, as the Renault Type NN that followed was longer.

The water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a 58 mm bore and 90 mm stroke had a displacement of 951 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified as 45 km / h to 60 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.

With a wheelbase of 245 cm and a track width of 115 cm, the vehicle was 335 cm long and 135 cm wide. The turning circle was given as 11 meters. The chassis weighed 490 kg.

At the end of 1924, a three-seat torpedo cost 15,000 francs or 15,100 francs, a three-seat sedan 17,500 francs and a roadster also 17,500 francs.

One source states that the high price tag was one reason the model's success remained low. A comparable Citroën Type C cost only 12,800 francs at the time.
