description

The model was presented at the Paris Motor Show in December 1903 . It replaced the Renault Type R from. The state licensing authority granted the license on February 9, 1904. Production ended in the same year. At first there was no successor.

A single cylinder engine with a 100 mm bore and 110 mm stroke developed 7 hp from a displacement of 864 cm³ . This was the last single cylinder engine in a Renault. The side-mounted water cooler had nine cooling elements. The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The top speed was specified as 31 km / h to 51 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.

With a wheelbase of 230 cm, the vehicle was 340 cm long and 150 cm wide. The chassis weighed 540 kg, the complete vehicle 900 kg. The choices were Tonneau and Phaeton .

The price in December 1903 was 5500 francs .

The auction house H&H Classics Limited auctioned a tonneau for £ 65,000 on June 16, 2012 . Its engine output is given as 9 hp. The Bonhams auction house sold another tonneau from 1904 on November 2, 2018 for £ 75,900 . There is a tonneau in the Cité de l'Automobile in Mulhouse .
